Last spring I had the honor of witnessing my 7 year old son's 1st Communion. Capturing that milestone in our family was very important to me. I needed to find a photographer who would take portraits of my son that would depict how special an event it was, while still allowing my son's vibrant personality to shine through in a two dimensional medium. Aaron Gil of Fotonuova was that photographer. He came to a location that was convenient for us at a time that would provide the perfect lighting for the shoot, while still taking into consideration my schedule. The first thing that Aaron did upon arrival was to connect with my son. He was able to set the tone for a very comfortable and natural shoot. My son had a blast, even though he was dressed in a suit! The chemistry and rapport that Aaron built with my 7 year old allowed his personality and charisma to jump off the image. In this music video, I play an artist attempting to capture the image of an angel. In the fantasy, she appears and paints a photo of me. The painting in which I appear was made from one of the "Business Look" photos that we took on a very rainy day.

It turned out very well. And the director gave me the canvass that he made for the painting from your fine photo. It now hangs in my office.
